Stephanie is a Communications Specialist who works with Gulliver in content creation, writing for internal and external publications, executing marketing strategies and editing video for the web and social media. Stephanie assists the non-profit by drafting and disseminating information that is clear and concise. Stephanie writes the weekly newsletters representative of the brand and contributes content for the bi-annual magazine. She handles the creation of communications and marketing pieces from beginning to end. Stephanie is also essential in carrying out key marketing strategies that bring in potential customers as well as forming relationships that lead to investing.
After spending nearly a decade in TV news, Stephanie knows how to capture and retain audience attention, what drives conversations and enjoys getting to know others. Prior to working at Gulliver, she served as an Assignment Planner and Assignment Editor for WSVN, the Miami Fox affiliate. She worked closely with law enforcement, government officials and other elected representatives to bring the stories and talk about the issues that matter most to South Florida residents. Bilingual, she also has experience in the Spanish TV market working with Univision and assisting Telemundo whilst at NBC6. Stephanie became interested in television news in college after switching majors from teaching to broadcasting.
Stephanie is the daughter of Cuban immigrants and was born and raised in an area of Miami called West Kendall. She is the first college graduate of her family and attributes her success to watching her parents work hard to provide a better life for her and her older brother. A line dancer and dog lover, she also enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications, a Masters in Criminal Justice and is enrolled in the Marketing program at Florida International University.
